Empowering Futures: The Magic of Rotary in Education

The Rotary Club of Garuga and Bwebajja are excited to announce the launch of the second phase of the Kitala Secondary School project, an important initiative aimed at enhancing educational facilities in the region. Following the successful completion of the first phase, which involved constructing the ground floor of a three-story building, this new phase will focus on building the second floor.

The Kitala Secondary School project, spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Garuga, aims to provide students with a conducive learning environment. The first phase laid a solid foundation with the construction of the ground floor, which includes two classrooms. The second phase will build upon this progress by adding additional classrooms on the second floor, further accommodating the increasing student population and improving overall educational standards.

This project not only addresses immediate educational needs but also fosters community involvement and development. Local stakeholders, including parents and community leaders, have been actively engaged throughout the planning process, ensuring that the project reflects the aspirations of the community. By involving local voices, our clubs aim to create a sustainable model for education that can be replicated in other regions.

Looking ahead, plans for the third phase include building the final floor of the structure, which will feature advanced facilities such as science laboratories. These additions will enrich the educational experience for students, promoting both academic excellence and personal development.

In conclusion, the launch of the second phase of the Kitale Secondary School project marks a significant milestone in advancing education in the region. The Rotary Club of Garuga, together with our partners, is committed to transforming lives through education, and this initiative exemplifies their dedication to service and community upliftment.
