Who We Are
The Club of Reference
The Rotary Club of Garuga is a vibrant, community-minded service club based in Wakiso District, Uganda. Chartered on 3 December 2021 with around 34 founding members, we belong to Rotary District 9214 (Uganda & Tanzania) and Rotary Zone 22 in Africa.
From day one, Garuga has welcomed people from every background and profession, brought together by the Rotary ethos of Service Above Self. We meet every Friday to plan and deliver projects that improve education, health, sanitation, and livelihoods across our region — because we believe lasting change starts with people who choose to act.

Our mission is to uplift the basic standards of living in our community by growing our membership, deepening member engagement, and fostering Rotary values, fellowship, and service — while finding creative solutions that keep our club future-fit and relevant.
