Who we are

Our Mission

To uplift the basic standards of living of our community by increasing diversity and membership growth, enhancing member engagement, fostering Rotary values, fellowship, and service, and increasing the ability to adopt creative solutions to make our club's future-fit and relevant.

In practice, this means Garuga concentrates its energy on education, health, sanitation, and economic opportunity — while continually strengthening the club itself, so it can keep serving for generations to come.

Our Leadership

Rotary Garuga is governed by a board of directors elected from its membership, operating under Rotary District 9214 with guidance from the District Governor and Zone leadership. Over the years, the club has been shaped by experienced Rotarians and visiting leaders, including Past District Governor Francis Xavier Sentamu and Assistant Governor Annet Angelina, whose guidance has helped raise the club’s standards of service.
